What is a fake word generator?
A fake word generator invents brand-new words that follow the patterns of real language without being real words. It studies how letters actually flow in English — which pairs and triplets tend to follow one another — and then strings fresh combinations together. The result reads like something you could say out loud: pronounceable, plausible, and completely made up.
This one learns those letter patterns from a dictionary of nearly 200,000 real words, then does the opposite of a spell-checker: it double-checks every candidate against that same dictionary and discards anything that turns out to be a genuine word. What you're left with is guaranteed to be fake — a coined word, a neologism, a pseudoword — ready to become a name nobody has used yet.

Are the generated words guaranteed not to be real?
Yes. Every candidate is checked against a dictionary of nearly 200,000 English words and discarded if it matches, so what you see is not a real word in that list. Very rarely a fake word may resemble a proper noun or a word from another language, which no single dictionary covers.
Can I use these words commercially — for a business or product name?
The words themselves are free to use. Because they're invented, they're good candidates for brand names, but you should still check domain availability and run a trademark search before committing, just as you would with any name.
How are the words made?
The tool uses a character-level Markov model trained on real words: it learns which letters tend to follow which, then samples new sequences that obey those patterns. That's why the results are pronounceable rather than random gibberish.
Is anything saved or sent to a server?
No. After the model loads once, every word is generated locally in your browser. Nothing you generate is stored or transmitted.
Can I control the length or first letter?
